How to buy discount Nike Horror Series – Air Max LTD, Dunk Lo & Vandal Hi.
Nike has created a new pack called the Horror Series. This is a collection of an Air Max LTD, Dunk Lo and Vandal Hi. Each shoe has a printed graphic that shows the theme. These shoes are sold by Major DC.

The Air Max LTD toe box has an interesting skull and a sickle over its head. The horror theme is continued in the deep red shoe lace and a running stream of blood red cross stitches down the side of the shoe.

The Horror Series Dunk Lo looks more cheerful. Its toe box has a colorful graphic, set against a red background. The perimeter of the shoe is a green border. There is another white perimeter before the mid-sole of the shoe starts.

The Horror Series Vanda Hi has a white colorway. The graphic is a devil and it is drawn at the heel. You know what they say you can run faster with the devil at your heels. This shoe has an interesting velco strap around the heels. Its shoe lace is as black as the dark night where the evil devil lurks.

The Dunk Lo with its red and green contrasting colors is the most outrageous of this pack. I would choose the Air Max LTD because its color combination is soothing.
Sole Oreo is in the midst of producing a pair of custom Nikes with a Paris theme. These shoes are incomplete at the moment though they have a lot of promise. The unfinished portions of the Paris Highs are shown below.

The designer has created individual panels with light colors ranging from blue to pink to act as a backdrop forParisian themes. You can see paintings, renderings of French soldiers and other elements on each panel. I think these shoes exhibit an artistic touch that is lacking in most custom sneakers. Most designers could not transfer classic and modern French paintings to such a unique canvass. Sole Oreo makes this transfer with a deep attention to detail needed to honor these works.

My only problem with the Paris Highs is the mixture of a flesh-colored background with a red swoosh. I am not sure if Sole Oreo will work further with these elements but a swoosh with a subtle color would help highlight the overall effect. I cannot wait to see how the Paris Highs turn out in the end.
Evolved Footwear and 2000words.org have collaborated on the Purple Rain Storm III shown above. This pair of customized Nike Air Stabs leave much to be desired in terms of taste as well as execution. I have reviewed quite a few of Evolved Footwear’s customs but this seems to fall short on all counts.

These custom Air Stabs were six months in the making according to Evolved Footwear’s post on NikeTalk. I think six months was too much time to think about flourishes and elements to add to this shoe. The speckled outsole, purple spotted white swoosh and inverted paint job on the toe box are too much for my eyes. The cherry on top of this poorly-conceived pair of customs is the bright green laces.

I know Evolved Footwear works within the confines of requests from clients and collaborators. I think they could have put together a better pair of Air Stabs if they exerted a bit more creative control. The simplest way these shoes could be improved is using another set of laces to dampen some of the excessive exuberence.
